What to Sell

We accept: children's clothing size infant - teenager, maternity clothing, shoes, toys, books, games, puzzles, kids DVDs, cribs, dressers, highchairs, strollers, bath seats, baby swings, exersaucers, walkers, playpens, gates, safety equipment, car seats, breast pumps, breastfeeding supplies, diaper bags, nursery decorations, shopping cart covers, baby slings, pregnancy videos and books...

We do NOT accept:

-Summer clothing in the Fall/Winter Sale

-Winter clothing in the Spring/Summer Sale 

-stuffed animals

-bottles, bibs, diapers, pacifiers (unless they are NEW in sealed package)

 -infant formula

-just a mattress without the crib/bed

-battery-operated toys without working batteries

-car seats that have been in an accident

Try grouping items together to reach the $1.00 minimum price.

 Due to a large volume of infant clothing, each person may consign up to 25 pieces of infant clothing (0-12 months). 

All items must be LIKE NEW. We reserve the right to refuse items that do not meet these standards. Everything must be clean, in working condition, not outdated, no stains, holes, missing pieces, missing buttons...

                                     1. REGISTER AS A CONSIGNOR

CLICK HERE to register for our sale. Please choose your seller number to be the first letter of your last name then the last 4 digits of your phone number.

Example: Erica Fallon, 410-790-5116  (F5116) 

If you already have a seller number with 'My Consignment Manager' you may use that number. If your items are already tagged in a different format CONTACT US so we can arrange to help you sell these items without retagging them.

 

                                     2. ENTER YOUR ITEMS

Fill in the required fields for each item.  Information needed will be:

1- Size           2- Gender           3- Price ($.50 increments)       4- Brand

5- Brief  Description of item  (2-5 word description is sufficient)                                          ex: blue onesie     

6- Discount YES/NO    (Choose Y/N to cut your prices in 1/2 during the 1/2 price sale)

*The minimum price for an item is $1.00. You can group items together to help reach the $1.00 

                                            3. PRINT TAGS

* The program will then generate your tags and all you need to do is PRINT

* Make sure to use CARDSTOCK - using regular paper makes the barcode unreadable for the scanner.

* Print using NORMAL setting. Other print qualities do NOT print the barcode correctly.

                                              4. ATTACH TAGS
** BE SURE TO SECURELY FASTEN TAGS TO ITEMS.  HARFORD KIDS CONSIGNMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS WHOSE TAGS HAVE BEEN LOST.

Clothing:

-Attach tags to clothing using SAFETY PINS - no straight pins or staples

-Clothing must be on a hanger that is pointing left like a question mark (?)

-Clothing should be arranged according to size for a quick drop-off

Toys:

 -Attach tags to toys using TAPE -Do NOT cover Barcode with tape!

    • Small items or multiple item sets should come in a ziploc bag(s) with the tag inside the bag or securely taped to the outside of the bag. 
    • If a toy comes with pieces, they should all be in a bag securely taped to the larger toy. You can label bags with a marker in case the tag gets detached.  
    • Bags should be taped shut so they don't open.
    • Battery-operated toys should have working batteries in them.
    • Shoes should come in a bag or with ribbon/shoelaces attaching the shoes together.

                                     5. DROP OFF YOUR ITEMS

Please drop off your items  Thursday, Sept. 2 at Beachmont Christian Camp.    If dropping off your items is not possible, please CONTACT US so we can arrange to pick up your items before the sale. There may be a small pick-up fee.

  • Please bring a Self Addressed, Stamped Envelope so we can mail you a check within 5 business days of the sale's close.
  • Add your seller number to the bottom corner of the front of the envelope.  
  • Please organize your clothes by size and gender. 

At drop-off we will check-in your items to make sure they meet the sale's standards. It is your responsibility to organize your items onto the sales floor. Volunteers will be available to help you.

                        6.  PICK UP YOUR UNSOLD ITEMS (optional)

Please pick up your unsold items    Monday, Sept. 6   2:00pm - 5:00pm 

* Any items remaining after 5:00 pm, Mon. Sept. 6, 2010 will become property of Harford Kids Consignment and may be donated.
